Giorgia Meloni

Giorgia Meloni is an Italian politician. Giorgia Meloni was Minister of Youth in the IV Berlusconi government and president of the Young Italy. Cofounder of the party Brothers of Italy with Guido Crosetto and Ignazio La Russa, on March 8, 2014, she was elected president of the party. Shes a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy since 2006.

Meloni was born in Rome, to a father from Sardinia and a mother from Sicily. Being active into politics since her teenage years, she earned a diploma from the former Amerigo Vespucci Institute in 1996. She worked as a journalist.
